The Nittany Lions opened Big Ten play with a 4-0 thrashing of Maryland at Jeffrey Field on Thursday. Penn State is riding a two-game win streak as it heads into its final two matchups of a three-game home stand. Its most recent loss was a slim 1-0 defeat to now-No. 1 Virginia on September 4.
