Original Post 7/4:

The epicenter of the college wrestling world will be getting a new flavor of wrestling in November.

Real American Freestyle, the new professional freestyle wrestling promotion founded earlier this year by Chad Bronstein, Terri Francis, and WWE legend Hulk Hogan, will hold its second event at Rec Hall on Saturday, November 8, at a time to be determined. It’ll be the first freestyle event to be held in State College since the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

The promotion features current and former NCAA wrestlers, as well as Olympic talent. In their inaugural event at the Wolfstein Center in Cleveland back in August, former Penn State wrestler and current UFC fighter Bo Nickal notably defeated Michigan wrestler Jacob Cardenas to become the inaugural RAF Lightweight Champion. Other Penn State-affiliated wrestlers who competed were Kyle Dake and Jason Nolf, with the former winning the RAF Cruiserweight Championship.

The card for the event in November has yet to be fully announced, but 2025 Hodge Trophy winner Wyatt Hendrickson is set to defend his RAF Heavyweight Championship against Michigan’s Mason Parris at Rec Hall.

The event will be streamed on FOX Nation. Ticket information will be released at a later date, but you can be notified when they become available by signing up on their website.
