Four-Star Forward Gerry DiCunzolo Commits To Penn State Hockey

Ahead of the most anticipated season in the history of the Penn State men’s hockey program, coach Guy Gadowsky continues to build for the future. On Monday, the Nittany Lions earned the commitment of American four-star forward Gerry DiCunzolo.
The New York City native stands 5’10” and has dominated to this point in his junior hockey career, posting 57 goals and 90 assists for 147 total points in just 62 games with Shattuck St. Mary’s 15U. DiCunzolo, who turned 16 in June, will play the 2025-26 season with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League. At a recent U17 Four Nations event, he had eight points in just four games for Team USA.
DiCunzolo is ranked as the No. 33 U.S. skater in the 2009-born recruiting class, joining Nolan Snyder and Braden Horton as the program’s recruits, with all three landing in the top 50 among Americans.
