Brainstorming Penn State’s Adidas Jerseys

Earlier this month, Penn State Athletics announced that it would officially join the Adidas family in the summer of 2026. Since the university and Nike have been linked since 1993, we thought it’d be fun to imagine what Penn State jerseys could look like under Adidas.

Football Jerseys

For football, we honored Penn State’s tradition while adding Adidas-inspired detail. The jerseys stick to the classic navy and white and the “No names, all game” culture, while subtle sleeve striping brings a retro flair. The design is clean, timeless, and instantly recognizable, showing that Penn State can modernize while keeping tradition at the core.

Basketball Jerseys

With basketball, we leaned into a bold but classic look that feels both vintage and modern. We chose an arched Penn State across the chest to give the uniforms a stronger, more old-school presence compared to the current design. Both the navy and white versions stick to the school’s traditional palette, with the contrast keeping things sharp. We kept the layout simple and polished, but with Adidas’ influence in the cut and details, the uniforms feel like a natural update that bridges past and present.

Hockey Jerseys

For hockey, we stayed close to the current Nike design since it already suits Penn State. The striping and clean layout are recognizable, and the bold lion head logo keeps the look strong while fitting Adidas’ style. It shows that sometimes the smartest choice is preserving what already works.

Soccer Jerseys

For soccer, we added sleek lines and detailing to reflect Adidas’ signature style. The clean base maintains a traditional look, while the accents bring a modern energy that remains true to Penn State.
