Penn State Football Slips To No. 7 In Week Six AP Poll

Penn State football fell four spots to No. 7 in the latest AP Poll, the Associated Press announced Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions stormed back from a two-touchdown deficit in the fourth quarter and took an overtime lead against Oregon in Saturday’s White Out before a Drew Allar interception sealed the game for Dan Lanning’s squad.

It’s Penn State’s second week in a row with a drop in the rankings after holding at No. 2 through the first four weeks of the season. Other ranked Big Ten teams include No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Oregon, No. 8 Indiana, No. 20 Michigan, and No. 22 Illinois.

Penn State will travel to Pasadena to take on UCLA at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, at the Rose Bowl. Folks can watch the game on CBS.
