Allen Street Jam To Kick Off Homecoming Festivites

Get ready to kick off Homecoming, Penn State!

The annual Allen Street Jam will take place on Monday, October 6, from 3-7 p.m. in Downtown State College. The street will be taken over by local vendors, artists, and fans as Happy Valley begins its annual Homecoming celebrations.

The block party is the official kickoff to Homecoming Week, featuring local flavors and freebies. Attendees will have the chance to meet this year’s Homecoming Court and see the beloved Nittany Lion roaming around.

At 6 p.m., Penn State’s various dance teams will perform and compete in the “Allen Street Jam Competition.” The lively atmosphere draws students, alumni, and locals, and is sure to boost your school spirit!
