NHL Network and NHL YouTube are set to carry the Penn State-Arizona State series this weekend to showcase Gavin McKenna’s collegiate debut with the Nittany Lions, the NHL announced in a press release on Wednesday.
The game feed and play-by-play will be provided by FOX 10 Phoenix, with NHL Network’s studio team presenting all pregame and postgame coverage on NHL platforms, as well as intermission reports for both games. NHLN TV host Tony Luftman and analyst E. J. Hradek will provide extensive coverage for Friday’s game, with Erika Wachter and Kevin Weekes will have all the news and analysis during Saturday’s matchup.
This weekend’s marquee series in Tempe, Arizona, will also be streamed live on the NCHC’s digital network, NCHC.tv.
McKenna is the projected No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft and highlights the team from Hockey Valley, carrying high expectations and ranking No. 5 in the country.
Penn State’s opening game against the Sun Devils will be at 10 p.m. on October 3, while the series closer will be at 8 p.m. on October 4. The Nittany Lions return home against Clarkson on October 9.
