Penn State Hillel Offering October 7 Memoriam Events

In honor of the two-year anniversary of the events of October 7, Penn State Hillel invites all Penn State students to a week-long series of events in remembrance.

The week begins with therapy dogs on Monday at the Gutterman Family Center, along with Decorations for the Sukkah later in the evening at 6 p.m. The therapy dogs will be available at the center the entire week of October 6-10, with the time to be announced later.

On Tuesday, there will be a vigil at the HUB from 6-7 p.m., followed by an art exhibit at the Gutterman Family Center.

Students can attend a viewing of the “October 8” film from 6-8 p.m., followed by a discussion with Tessa Veksler from 8-9 p.m., both at the Gutterman Center, on Wednesday.

Thursday, there will be s’mores at the center at 6 p.m., and Friday, there will be Shabbat services.
