Penn State Basketball’s ‘Ball At East Hall’ To Return October 22

The Penn State men’s and women’s basketball teams are set to return for their third ‘Ball at East Hall’ event at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, at the East Halls basketball courts.

Both Mike Rhoades’ and Carolyn Kieger’s teams will be present at the event. Along with basketball-related games that will involve both players and students, folks can find food trucks, prizes, and more.

Rhoades enters his third year leading the Nittany Lions in 2025–26. Under his direction, Penn State recorded the highest-scoring offense in program history last season, averaging 79.1 points per game. The Nittany Lions open their 2025–26 campaign at home against Fairfield on Monday, November 3, at 7 p.m.

Kieger begins her seventh year at the helm of the Lady Lions in 2025–26. The Lady Lions are coming off of a disastrous 10-19 campaign in their 2024-25 campaign. Penn State went 1-17 in Big Ten play. Kieger’s team opens its season on Monday, November 3, at the Bryce Jordan Center. A tipoff time is to be determined.
