Penn State To Host ‘Re-Styled: A Sustainable Fashion Experience’ November 5

Penn State’s Center for the Business of Sustainability is set to present its sustainability-focused fashion show and competition on November 5 from 6-8 p.m. This event will take place in the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Atrium in the business building.

“Re-Styled 2025 is a multidisciplinary event organized by the CBoS Events Team under the direction of Tracey Mariner, Director of Education and Student Programs, and Travis Lesser, Center Director,” the press release stated.

The event team consists of Malinda Garcia, the Event Strategy & Logistics Intern; Moira Inocencio, the Social Media Manager & UX Intern; and Elena Weinstein, the Academic Innovation & Learning Intern, along with other featured partners and collaborating organizations

Re-Styled: Fashioning Through Threads of Change is more than just a fashion show; it’s a movement celebrating sustainability and creativity within the fashion industry.

The fashion show will showcase and celebrate innovative student designers, including Tawsif Al Mehran and Keya Ahrestani. It will also highlight Jordan Pietrafitta, founder of Earthly for the Planet, whose work reflects a commitment to environmental responsibility and artistic innovation.

There will be numerous performances throughout the night, including a vibrant showcase of diverse models, making the event truly memorable. Along with the fashion show, there will be a competition, prizes, entertainment, live music, food, and more.

Free to all, this event is open to the Penn State community, aiming to spark conversations about sustainable fashion and inspire change through design.
