No More Time 2 Celebrate Birthdays: Penn State Football Overtakes James Franklin’s Tradition

We all know how James Franklin celebrated his players and coaching staff whenever their birthday rolled around.

Every birthday, like clockwork, got the “Want 2 take time 2 wish a member of OUR FAMILY Happy B-Day” treatment. Yet, without Franklin, Penn State football’s social team has overtaken the job of spreading birthday cheer throughout the Lasch Building.

No disrespect to the talented designers on Penn State football’s social staff, but these just don’t hit the same. Sorry, Aaron Enterline, but you were first up for this new format. Tough year to be born in mid October, am I right?

Poor kid never even got one from Franklin.

Anyways, congratulations to Penn State Sports Medicine’s medical director Dr. Wayne Sebastianelli for being Franklin’s last-ever birthday post! All of those degrees and medical experience, but he still didn’t have time 2 heal Penn State’s season. Oh well.
