Centre Film Festival To Begin November 10

The 2025 Centre Film Festival is returning to State College for its seventh year.

This year’s edition is set for November 10 to 16 across multiple beloved Happy Valley theaters, including UEC Theatres, The State Theatre, The Rowland Theatre, the Carnegie Cinema, and the Foster Auditorium.

The festival will feature a diverse range of films, including full-length features, student-made films, shorts, and documentaries. Attendees are also invited to participate in post-screening discussions, where they will have the opportunity to meet the crew behind the films and gain insight into their future projects.

Folks can buy all-access festival passes for $60. Students get in for free with ID. Individual tickets come in at $10.

In addition, two awards will be presented to two Penn State alumni at the Rowland Theater on November 16 to wrap up the seven-day celebration. Director Don Roy King will be this year’s recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, and actor and writer Jerrie Johnson will receive the Chandler Living Legacy Award.
