Penn State is lucky to have a large student body, which includes some on and off-campus celebrities. We see these people online every day, but has it hit you that they could also be partaking in Halloween? Who knows, your favorite face could be dressed up in costume this Friday.

While people everywhere look forward to what Heidi Klum and Alix Earle are being for Halloween, we are here to pitch what our Penn State celebrities should be for the popular holiday.

Willard Preacher As A Frat Pledge

While we tend to see the Willard Preacher… well, preaching, we’d also like to see him take on a common outfit worn by Penn State students. We think the Willard Preacher would look spiffy in a suit and tie, maybe even get to know the different fraternities around Penn State. After this weekend, maybe he’ll consider rushing!

Neeli Bendapudi As President Barbie

WE ARE obsessed with this costume for our very own Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi. She would strut her stuff in this pink Barbie-inspired costume. She might have to convert to wearing pink 24/7 after this Halloween. Our favorite part is the pink Penn State hat. Who knew Penn State could be so Barbie-coded?

Terry Smith As The Nittany Lion

We know you’ve been waiting for this costume, so why not award it to Penn State’s interim head coach, Terry Smith? Smith has been brought to a new light in Penn State headlines as he takes the position of Head Coach, and we thought it would be wrong not to have him dress up as our school mascot, the Nittany Lion. We’re sure Smith can throw in a couple of backflips and some one-handed pushups for the crowd. He could be a great Nittany Lion Mascot (even for one night), and we’d be excited to see this costume come to life.

Katie Feeney As A Penn State Cheerleader

I heard the Penn State cheerleading team is looking for a new member! We have just the right candidate for the spot! This Halloween, we want to see Feeney cheering on the sideline with some red lipstick that POPS! I mean, we all know she would be amazing as a cheerleader, so it’s definitely worth a try. Just in case, look out for a cheerleader roaming State College this upcoming weekend!

Stephen Nedoroscik As State College Weather

There is no better way for our favorite Penn State Gymnast, Stephen Nedoroscik, to dress up than this costume on Halloween. This costume includes every season you’ll find, with all the different types of weather you’ll experience at Penn State. Rainy, chilly, freezing, hot, overcast, sunny, you name it, this costume is prepared for it. At least Nedoroscik will be prepared for any surprises in the weather this Halloween.

Saquon Barkley As A Penn State Tailgate Dad

Time flies, and now our beloved running back alumn, Saquon Barkley, has both a daughter and a son. With that, we know the Barkleys will be back soon enough, and we have just the costume for Barkley. We don’t know about you, but we think this is just the right fit. We can see it already, Barkley grilling with his family, getting ready to watch Penn State on the Big Ten Network.

Keegan-Michael Key As James Franklin’s Twin

Some might say, “Here we go again.” It is no secret that Keegan-Michael Key and James Franklin look alike. In April of 2018, James Franklin (Keegan-Michael Key) led Penn State out of the tunnel, striding across the field to the Nittany Lions’ sideline. In the hilarious video, Key is seen dressed as James Franklin and almost looks exactly alike. This is the perfect costume to trick and fool many people. If you’re out and about Friday night and think you see James Franklin, maybe think again!

The Nittany Lion As “Sylly” Week

The best week of the year, some might say. We think the Nittany Lion would look great in this costume, embodying every student during syllabus week. Waking up early to go to class, makeup still on, and more parties to go to. The Nittany Lion is always busy, so we know they are going to have a jam-packed week balancing calculus and frats for five days. This costume is perfect for dressing down but still looking good to go out!
