We’re trying to save you the time and effort of visiting multiple downtown apartments when they aren’t even worth your while. Here are some of the nicest downtown State College Apartments for those looking to rent a four-bedroom apartment.

1. The oLiv Hetzel

The oLiv Hetzel Apartments are a popular choice for living among students. Located just downtown on Hetzel Street, students have access to all the fun and exciting things that go on off of College Avenue. Looking at 4-bedroom apartments, students get 2 bathrooms and a large living space. The apartment complex comes with a rooftop pool, a fire pit with lounge seating, a fitness center, and a sauna. 2. The Maxxen

The Maxxen Apartments on Hiester Street is a great place to live, with a great location. Their apartments offer some appealing features, like their hardwood flooring and quartz countertops. They come fully furnished with a mounted SMART living room TV and in-unit laundry. The complex provides a health and fitness center, study area, indoor gaming lawn, computer lab, and penthouse sky deck and lounge. There are amenities for every person, providing a good fit for every student. Their basic 4×4 apartment starts at $1255, and their 4×4 Penthouse starts at $1400. The Maxxen is currently offering both virtual and in-person guided tours.

3. The Aspen

The Aspen Apartments are a bit farther from College Avenue, but still offer amazing benefits! This complex, located on Squirrel Drive, is sure to offer everything you need as a Penn State student. Some of the “perks” listed are a pool and hot tub, an outdoor TV lounge, and study rooms for both groups and individuals. The apartments also offer a private shuttle, fire pit, 24/7 package pickup, and 24/7 fitness center. Their four-bedroom apartment comes with individual bathrooms, a spacious floor plan, and a washer and dryer in-unit. These apartments are sure to provide enough space for you and your roommates, as well as be the perfect home. The four-bedroom unit starts at $1220, and they take both in-person and virtual tours.

4. The Standard

Located on West College Avenue, The Standard is at a perfect location to get to the heart of State College. This apartment complex is known for its high-rise look and great amenities. They offer a fitness center, business center, computer lab, sports simulator, and academic lounge. Their apartments are up to date, with granite countertops, private bedrooms and bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and high-speed internet and cable. As always, these rooms come fully furnished with individual housing contracts to be readily available for students. The Metropolitan Apartments also offer a great spot in State College, being located off of West College Avenue. The complex offers a fitness center, study pods, a rooftop pool, and a parking garage. Their units are of high value, having an electronic key system, stainless steel appliances, and an in-unit washer and dryer. These apartments come fully furnished, and the building lists community rewards and monthly resident events. They are pet-friendly and, for the comfort of their residents, offer roommate matching. The Legacy, located on East Calder Way, is another great place to live in State College. 7. The Edge

The Edge Apartments is not talked about as much as others in downtown State College. This apartment complex includes an “unbeatable” downtown location, on-site laundry rooms, on-site parking, and 24/7 maintenance. The area provides great onsite restaurants and is a short walking distance to the nightlife of Happy Valley. These rooms come fully furnished, with a premium kitchen, a 65″ wall-mounted TV, stainless steel appliances, and four bedrooms with full-size beds. Another pro includes their fitness center and spacious units. They do not have pricing listed online or any information about a tour, but do have their contact information listed.
