Former Penn State Football Cornerback Daequan Hardy Signs With Pittsburgh Steelers’ Practice Squad

Former Penn State football cornerback Daequan Hardy has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad, the team announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Buffalo Bills drafted Hardy with the No. 219 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He was released by the team ahead of the season opener, but signed with the practice squad the following day. He now finds a new opportunity in his hometown.

Hardy donned the blue and white for five seasons. He totaled 60 tackles, 7.5 tackles-for-loss, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, five interceptions, and one touchdown in 48 games.
