Elijah Brown Commits To Penn State Wrestling

No. 1 Penn State wrestling has landed the 28th overall recruit in the class of 2026 on signing day. Elijah Brown announced his commitment on Wednesday via his X.

Brown had initially committed to Pitt but decommitted in October. He’s listed at 215 pounds and is projected to be a heavyweight in college.

Brown wrestled at Belle Vernon Area High School, where he posted a 127-19 record and won a state championship. Matscouts has Brown as the No. 6-ranked heavyweight in his class. He joins Jayden James and Sam Herring as the recruits so far for the class of 2026.

Penn State begins its season against Oklahoma in the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday, November 14, at 6 p.m.
