Penn State Men’s Volleyball Signs Two Recruits On National Signing Day

Drake Foley and Thomas Demps IV are headed to Happy Valley, Penn State men’s volleyball announced on Wednesday on X. This marked the start of the signing period for college athletics.

Penn State’s first signee of the day comes out of Newport Beach, California. Drake Foley is listed as a 6’3 libero and played at both Corona del Mar High School and with Balboa Bay Volleyball Club.

Foley was named to the 2025 AVCA 2025 Boys National High Risers List.

Penn State’s second addition to the program this National Signing Day is 6’5 outside hitter, Thomas Demps IV. Demps comes to Happy Valley from Raleigh, North Carolina, where he played at Needham Broughton High School and with the Triangle Volleyball Club.

The high school senior was most recently named to the 2025 Junior Volleyball Association’s Boys’ All-National Team Class of 2026.
