Your Official Penn State-Michigan State Drinking Game

Folks, it’s a new week, and with that, a new football matchup for the boys in blue and white. With both Penn State and Michigan State vying for their first conference win, we are in for an interesting game, no doubt.

What better way to spend an away game weekend than drinking your favorite beverage!

Whether you made the venture to East Lansing to watch our Nittany Lions (hopefully) bring home the Land-Grant Trophy, stayed in State College, or stayed home, get ready to join in on the action and drink the game away…

  • Let’s start strong. It’s not a noon game, so take a celebration shot.
    • Take another shot for the 3:30 kickoff. Is that the best time for a game?
  • If you got your hopes up last week in the final two minutes of the game, shotgun a beer and try to forget what Curt Cignetti took from us.
  • Take a shot for coach Terry Smith and his quest to bring home the Land-Grant Trophy. We believe in you, coach.
  • If you cannot wait for Thanksgiving Break, take a double shot. We all feel the pain. Give us a fall break, Penn State!
    • If you’re a firm believer that it’s Christmas time, take another shot.
  • If you made the trip to East Lansing to watch the boys take on the Spartans, grab a beer and finish it. You’re a real fan.
  • If you’re watching the game from home or State College, finish half a beer. Not all of us can travel, but all of us can support the team.
  • If you got sick this week with whatever’s going around, take a shot or two to clear out those germs. That’s how it works, right?
  • Every time the head coach search is mentioned, take a shot. It’s getting old at this point.
  • For every camera shot of Smith, take a sip.
  • If you have great game-watching food, start snacking. Always worth a few bites to help control the alcohol.
  • If Nick Singleton has another generational game, take a shot. Bonus shot if he gets in for a touchdown or two. He’s so back.
  • For every third down the defense wins, take a nice, long sip. The Nittany Lion defense looked amazing last week.
  • For halftime, take a shot. Congrats on making it this far.
  • If Dani Dennis-Sutton is walking around attempting to intimidate the other team, take a sip. Bonus sips for every time he smacks his helmet aggressively.
  • Every time you see Drew Allar on camera, take a shot and try to forget what Northwestern took from us.
  • If the referee misses an obvious holding call, take a few shots. It’ll help the pain of playing against two teams go away.
  • For every touchdown we get, chug a beer. The boys are making plays!
  • If we are up, take a shot! Need to keep that momentum.
  • If we hit the final two minutes in the fourth quarter and are winning, take a deep breath. Still a lot of football ahead of us.
  • If you turn off the game at all because it’s “boring”, drink water. Alcohol is too good for you.
  • If we lose, it might be time to drink to forget.
  • If we win, THE NITTANY LIONS HAVE RETAINED THE LAND-GRANT TROPHY! Get out there and start chugging. We officially have our first conference win!

As always, folks, have fun, drink responsibly, and of course, WE ARE!
