23 Players Out For Penn State Football Against Michigan State

Twenty-three players have been ruled out for Penn State football’s contest against Michigan State, per the Big Ten’s availability report. Cornerback A.J. Harris and offensive lineman Dominic Rulli are listed as questionable.
Quarterbacks Jaxon Smolik and Bekkem Kritza are out. Terry Smith hinted Wednesday that Liam Clifford would take the QB2 spot behind Ethan Grunkemeyer. Clifford has been taking quarterback reps in practice and took them pregame against Indiana. Jack Lambert will likely serve as QB3. Drew Allar remains out for the season.
In the receiving room, Kaden Saunders, Josiah Brown, Ethan Black, and Peter Gonzalez are out. It’s Black’s first time on the injury report this season.
On the defensive line, Max Granville, Chaz Coleman, Owen Wafle, Mason Robinson, Cortez Harris, Kaleb Artis, Sam Siafa, Bobby Mears, and Jordan Mayer are out. Smith said Coleman was day-to-day with an illness. The freshman also missed last week’s game against Indiana.
Linebacker Tony Rojas remains out for the season. Kari Jackson and Jackson Pryts are also out at the position.
Defensive backs Antoine Belgrave-Shorter and Donte Nastasi will miss action against the Spartans. Brady O’Hara and Liam Horan remain inactive on the offensive line.
