Penn State-Nebraska Scheduled For 7 P.M. Kickoff On NBC

Penn State football’s November 22 Senior Day matchup against Nebraska is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on NBC, the Big Ten announced on Sunday.

The two programs will meet for the first time since Nebraska’s 30-23 win in 2020 and return to Beaver Stadium for the first time since 2017, where Penn State topped the Cornhuskers in a 56-44 shootout. It was the Nittany Lions’ first win over Nebraska since 2002, and the Cornhuskers currently lead the all-time series 10-8, marked by a four-game win streak from 2003 to 2013.

Penn State is 4-6 following its first Big Ten win over Michigan State on Saturday. It was Penn State’s first win in the post-James Franklin era and first overall since September 13.

Nebraska is 7-3 and 4-3 in Big Ten play following its 28-21 win over UCLA in week 11. Standout Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola suffered a season-ending injury in Nebraska’s loss to USC on November 1. The Huskers spent week 12 on bye.

Matt Rhule’s team will be the final regular-season foe at Beaver Stadium for Penn State before the Nittany Lions travel to Rutgers for the season finale.
