Week In Pictures: November 10-16

That’s a wrap on another week here in Happy Valley!

With the first snowfall of the semester, Riley Green taking the stage and big wins in Penn State sports, it was a busy week. Our photographers were there to capture it all. Let’s take a look at what happened this past week.

November 10: Happy Valley saw its first snow of the season.

November 11: More snow came down throughout the night.

November 11: Penn State came together to celebrate our veterans.

November 11: Men’s basketball took down the Midshipmen of Navy, 80-71, at the Bryce Jordan Center.

November 12: The Lady Lions brought down Coppin State, 90-62, on Field Trip Day.

November 12: THON celebrated 100 days ’til THON in the HUB — raising a record-breaking amount for the Dream Forward campaign.

November 13: Counting down the days till break.

November 13: Riley Green brought the energy to the Bryce Jordan Center during his “Damn Country Music Tour.”

November 13: Sororities and fraternities rocked the stage during their Greek Sing fundraiser in Schwab Auditorium.

November 13: Liz Gillies spoke at a SPA-sponsored event on campus to talk about her acting career and what she’s up to now.

November 14: Penn State women’s hockey beat Syracuse, 7-0, in a shutout win, keeping the blue and white undefeated on the season.

November 14: Men’s hockey fell, 7-1, against the Michigan Wolverines in the first of two games at Pegula Ice Arena.

November 15: Women’s soccer beat Army, 3-0, advancing it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

November 15: Toss those teddy bears!

November 15: Football beat Michigan State, 28-10, keeping the Land-Grant Trophy where it belongs.

November 16: Women’s volleyball beat Ohio State, 3-2, in Rec Hall.

Penn State Women’s Hockey’s Tessa Janecke And Danica Maynard Awarded All-USCHO Honors

Danica Maynard was named to the All-USCHO Third and Rookie Team, while Tessa Janecke is now the first Nittany Lion to be named to the All-USCHO First Team.

Penn State Women’s Hockey Head Coach Jeff Kampersal Named USCHO Coach Of The Year

This marks his second Coach of the Year award this season.
