Report: Former Penn State Football Linebacker Jesse Luketa Signs With Los Angeles Rams’ Practice Squad

Former Penn State football linebacker Jesse Luketa has signed with the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

The Arizona Cardinals drafted Luketa with the No. 256 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He signed a one-year extension ahead of the 2024 season, before suffering a season-ending thigh injury. Luketa totaled three sacks and one forced fumble last season.

Luketa played four seasons in Happy Valley from 2018 to 2021. He played in 47 games, registering 151 total tackles, 11.5 tackles-for-loss, seven pass breakups, one interception, and one touchdown.
