Three Nittany Lions Land Spots On The United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Team

The United Soccer Coaches anointed three Penn State women’s soccer players to their All-North Region Team today. Kaitlyn MacBean, Bella Ayscue, and Amelia White added this honor to their collection of accolades from their 2025 season.

MacBean, who has already landed a spot on the First Team All-Big Ten roster, finished her stellar season with a USC honor. The graduate forward finished top ten in points on the season despite her lower minute count. She found the back of the net ten times in her final campaign while also mixing in an assist.

Her First Team All-Big Ten choice extended the program’s streak to 32 years in a row that a Nittany Lion appeared on the conference’s first team. MacBean’s All-North Region Team selection marks consecutive seasons of this honor, as she was selected to this team in her redshirt senior season, among two other Nittany Lions.

Leading the backline for the All-North Region Team will be Bella Ayscue, a sophomore defender. Ayscue has been integral to Penn State’s backline in her first two years as a Nittany Lion. However, this is her first season with selections to a USC or conference team. At the conclusion of the 2025 regular season, Ayscue was named to the All-Big Ten third team, along with two of her teammates.

The North Carolina resident tallied 1,819 minutes in her sophomore campaign, which ranks 25th in the Big Ten, nearly doubling her time on the field from the year prior. Ayscue was also able to net two goals on the season, despite spending limited time in the offensive zone.

Along with her two teammates on the USC All-North Region Team is Amelia White, a senior forward from Fort Wayne, Indiana. White’s explosiveness as a player tallied 16 points in her senior year, a collegiate career high by eight points. She delivered six goals on a .434 shot on goal percentage, three of them match-winning, while serving up four total assists.

White was the only Nittany Lion to be placed on the All-Big Ten Second Team, her first conference honor since her freshman year, when she played all 23 games. This is her first selection to a USC team.

Despite the result of their NCAA Tournament appearance, the Nittany Lions have a lot to hang their hat on, especially three of their own earning a spot on the USC All-North Region team.
