Three-Star Cornerback Amauri Polydor Flips From Penn State Football To Virginia Tech

Penn State class of 2026 three-star cornerback commit Amauri Polydor has flipped his commitment to Virginia Tech, per Rivals. Polydor committed to the Nittany Lions in June and reopened his commitment following James Franklin’s firing.

The Baltimore, Maryland, native is ranked as the No. 14 player in the state and No. 46 cornerback in the class of 2026, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. Polydor joined Penn State when it had the No. 5 2026 recruiting class, per the same metric. He is the 11th former Nittany Lion pledge to join James Franklin in Blacksburg.

Polydor took an official visit to Colorado in November. He gained significant interest from Deion Sanders’ team, but Franklin buried the hatchet on signing day.
