When Famous Penn Staters Likely Kick Off The Holiday Season

The holiday season is here, folks!
Post Thanksgiving, I think we’re all ready for a little Christmas cheer. From decorating your Christmas tree to holiday music, there’s so much to enjoy about this time of year.
With only 22 days left until Christmas, we got to wondering — when do famous Penn Staters get into the Christmas spirit? Do they wait until after Thanksgiving, or are they more of a November 1 decorator? Here’s our take on when famous Penn Staters start getting into the holiday mood.
Katie Feeney: November 1
Katie Feeney enjoys getting into the holiday spirit early. November 1 arrives, and she is quick to start decorating. She also enjoys creating Christmas content on her multiple platforms. You can even find her decorating her apartment for the holiday season on her TikTok.
Saquon Barkley: Before Thanksgiving
With the help of his two kids, Saquon Barkley gets into the holiday spirit early. Halloween decorations come down, and Christmas decorations quickly take their place. You can often find him buying gifts for the Eagles’ offensive linemen. Go Birds!
Kaytron Allen: December 1
Kaytron Allen keeps it simple. He goes with the flow and waits till the first of the month to start his holiday festivities.
Nick Singleton: December 23
With his focus on Penn State football, Nick Singleton is more of a last-minute kind of guy. You can find him searching the stores for last-minute gifts and sifting through picked-over decor. He somehow still manages to make it work, though.
Terry Smith: Christmas Day
Terry Smith has a lot on his mind (like whether or not he’ll be securing the permanent head coach position) so his holiday celebrations are on the back burner. He likely won’t set up his Christmas tree until the day of. But much like how he’s taken charge of our football team in unprecedented circumstances, he does the best with what he has and is sure to make the holiday feel festive.
