What Famous Penn Staters Should Get In Their Stocking This Holiday

We know many Penn State celebrities are psyched for this holiday season. From professional athletes to musicians, actors, and regular campus faces, we know Penn State has produced fame. This holiday, the stockings will be hung by the chimney with care, and we thought it would be fun to imagine what Santa might leave behind for these well-known Nittany Lions.

Perhaps a new helmet, Penn State gnome, or Nittany Lion stuffed animal awaits them from the fireplace. Here is a little look into what Penn State celebrities should be receiving in their stocking this year.

1. Saquon Barkley

The man, the myth, the legend. Barkley has no days off. Safe to say that this year he can expect a G.O.A.T trophy and his own Penn State Jersey in his stocking. What better thing to do than wear your own football jersey at a holiday event?

2. The Willard Preacher

This holiday season has been freezing cold. With constant snow and the sun going down earlier, it is frigid outside every day. The Willard Preacher devotes his time to talking to students and preaching, but he also has to be aware of how cold it might be outside. This holiday, we think the Willard Preacher will be receiving a couple of packs of Hot Hands, a Penn State beanie, and some Penn State earmuffs. With this thoughtful gift, maybe he’ll stay a little warmer and stay away from catching a cold.

3. Neeli Bendapudi

For the upcoming holiday, we think there would be no better gift than something delicate and fancy for Penn State’s own President, Neeli Bendapudi. We want to gift her something that she is going to enjoy every day, no matter the occasion. That is why, in this case, we decided that she should get a Penn State perfume and a matching Penn State necklace in her stocking this year. Bendapudi deserves something thoughtful, and there is no better match than these stocking stuffers.

4. Matt Campbell

Stepping into the position of head football coach of a school like Penn State can be hard, but not to worry! We know Coach Campbell will have a great holiday this season when he gets a Penn State football sweatshirt and a Penn State light-up sign in his stocking. These two gifts are bound to get him excited about Penn State and take all the nerves away. It’s important to remember he is new to the school, so we have to get him and his family some Penn State gear!

5. The Nittany Lion

This one has got to be the cutest of them all. What might put a smile on a Nittany Lion’s face? Probably receiving a keychain, a Nittany Lion. We think this is perfect for the Nittany Lions’ stocking, and the addition of the Penn State football is the cherry on top. Now the Nittany Lion can start playing on the field, and maybe we’ll have a new star player by the New Year!

6. Abdul Carter

With Abdul Carter now reaching 48 pressures and ranking 16th in the NFL in total pressures, we know he is worn out. We had the bright idea to gift him a Happy Valley energy drink for the sacks he will continue to hit and a special New York Giants hat to get him in the holiday spirit. On the other hand, we also think he should receive a Penn State notebook to write plays, track workout plans, and maybe even rant about how the Washington Commanders didn’t deserve that win this past Sunday. Overall, Carter will be set up for success and have the best holiday this year.

7. Keegan-Michael Key

Keegan-Michael Key is known for being a great comedian, actor, and producer, having attended Penn State. In his stocking, we think he is going to receive socks to replace the ones he knocks off your feet with killer jokes. The gift that keeps giving… right? We also believe there is going to be a comfortable Penn State beanie in his stocking to keep his head warm. We heard it gets cold often. Lastly, there should be a compact mirror in his stocking, so he can practice his Jordan Peele stare. We think he would really enjoy these gifts and know he will use them to their best potential.
