Penn State Football Defensive Tackle Sam Siafa Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football defensive tackle Sam Siafa plans to enter the transfer portal, he announced Wednesday afternoon. Siafa has one year of eligibility remaining.

In four seasons with the Nittany Lions, Siafa appeared in one game but didn’t register a stat. Siafa also earned the coaching staff’s Developmental Squad Defensive Player of the Week three times in his time at Penn State. He frequently appeared on the injury report in 2025.

As a recruit, Siafa was unranked coming out of Downingtown West High School in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. He committed to Penn State as a walk-on before the 2022 season.

Siafa is the 15th Nittany Lion to announce his intentions to enter the transfer portal.
