Report: Penn State Football Wide Receiver Kaden Saunders Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football wide receiver Kaden Saunders is planning to enter the transfer portal, per Pete Nakos. Saunders has two years of eligibility remaining.

Saunders’ 2025 season was derailed by a long-term injury in the summer, going along the lines of his Penn State career. He didn’t play a single snap this season. He only played in four games in 2024 after getting banged up in camp and suffering an injury later in the year.

Saunders had his sights set on the WR4 spot after Penn State’s major transfer portal acquisitions at the position heading into 2025, but that dream died quickly.

Saunders played three games in his true freshman season to preserve his redshirt. He played in 19 total games for the Nittany Lions, most of which were on special teams. As a receiver, he totaled eight receptions for 77 yards and one touchdown.

Saunders is the third Penn State receiver to enter the portal as he looks for a change of scenery coming back from his injury.
