UCLA Defensive Tackle Keanu Williams Transfers To Penn State Football

UCLA defensive tackle has committed to Penn State football, he announced on Instagram Monday night. He will suit up for the Nittany Lions in his sixth year of college football.

The 6’5″, 320-pound run stopper is not ranked in 247Sports’ transfer rankings. He started his college career with two seasons at Oregon, where he played in 10 games and tallied five tackles. He transferred to UCLA ahead of the 2023 season.

Williams called UCLA home for three years. He played in all 13 of the Bruins’ games in 2023, starting 10. He totaled 14 tackles, half a sack, and a fumble recovery. He played in two games in 2024 before missing the season with an injury. He came back in 2025 and appeared in all 12 of UCLA’s games, starting 11. The Clovis, California, native ended the year with a career high in total tackles with 39. He recorded two solo tackles against Penn State in October.

Williams is Penn State’s first non-Iowa State transfer addition. He’s also the first on the defensive line.
