Report: Former Penn State Football Tight End Andrew Olesh Transfers To Oregon

Former Penn State football tight end Andrew Olesh has committed to transfer to Oregon, per Hayes Fawcett. He has four years of eligibility remaining.
Olesh did not see any game action in his true freshman 2025 campaign, sitting behind a crowded tight end room of Luke Reynolds, Khalil Dinkins, Andrew Rappleyea, and Joey Schlaffer.
The Center Valley, Pennsylvania, native was one of the most highly-touted overall recruits in the class of 2025. He was ranked as the No. 1 player in the state, No. 3 tight end in the class, and No. 57 player in the nation, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
Rappleyea’s return to the program for 2026 and Iowa State transfer Benjamin Brahmer’s addition to the squad left little to no space for Olesh to see the field in Matt Campbell’s first season steering the ship in Happy Valley. Rappleyea ran away with the TE1 spot in the final few weeks of the season.
Olesh lands in Eugene for a fresh start. Reynolds ended up at Virginia Tech, and Schlaffer moved to Temple. Dinkins declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.
