Penn State Football Defensive Tackle Alonzo Ford Jr. Declares For 2026 NFL Draft

Penn State football defensive tackle Alonzo Ford Jr. has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced via Instagram Tuesday night.

Ford transferred to Penn State from Old Dominion in 2023 after recording 70 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks in 25 career games with the Monarchs. He then missed the entire 2023 season due to a preseason injury.

Ford returned in 2024 and appeared in every game before suffering a long-term injury in late November against Minnesota. Before the injury, he recorded 16 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss during his first active season with the Nittany Lions.

In 2025, Ford played in all 12 games and contributed 15 tackles, 0.5 sacks, a pass breakup, and his first-career interception as part of Penn State’s defensive tackle rotation.
