Report: Former Penn State Football Cornerback Kenny Woseley Jr. Transfers To Virginia Tech

Former Penn State football cornerback Kenny Woseley Jr. has committed to transfer to Virginia Tech, per 247Sports’ Kolby Crawford. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

Woseley was initially a three-star recruit out of Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, ranked as the No. 52 cornerback and No. 14 player from Pennsylvania in the Class of 2024, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He committed to Penn State in March 2023.

He redshirted in 2024, appearing in four games and making five tackles. Injuries and bowl opt-outs allowed Woseley to take on a slightly bigger role in the cornerback rotation as a redshirt freshman in 2025, as he appeared in all 13 games and made 10 tackles with a tackle for loss and a pass defended. He entered the transfer portal on January 5.

He is the 11th Nittany Lion to transfer to Virginia Tech and join James Franklin in Blacksburg, joining players like Ethan Grunkemeyer, Luke Reynolds, and Keon Wylie.
