Former Penn State Football Wide Receiver Anthony Ivey Transfers To San Jose State

Former Penn State football wide receiver Anthony Ivey has committed to transfer to San Jose State, he announced on X. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The redshirt junior arrived in Happy Valley in 2022, where he won the coaching staff’s Developmental Squad Offensive Player of the Week once. He appeared in one game in 2023 before earning some playing time in 2024.

Ivey appeared in 11 games in 2024 and 2025, mostly on special teams. He recorded his first and only career catch on a 15-yard reception against Kent State in September 2024. Ivey has not recorded any stats as a Nittany Lion outside of his one grab.

Ivey was tabbed as the No. 7 player in Pennsylvania, No. 32 wide receiver in the class of 2022, and No. 225 player in the nation as a four-star recruit out of Manheim Township High School, per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
