Week In Pictures: January 12-18

Welcome back, folks!

The first week back in Happy Valley was action packed. With concerts, big match ups, and a visit from our favorite furry friend, our photographers were there to capture it all.

Let’s see what happened during the first week of the spring semester.

January 12: Happy first day of classes!

January 13: Rise and shine, State College.

January 14: Rain, rain, go away.

January 14: Men’s basketball fell, 71-60, against the UCLA Bruins at home.

January 15: Men’s volleyball swept St. Thomas Aquinas in Rec Hall.

January 16: Men’s hockey opened its weekend series with a 4-1 win against Notre Dame.

January 16: Got the semester starting off strong with a performance by Flo Rida, hosted by SPA.

January 17: How many more weeks until spring? Pennsylvania’s favorite groundhog, Punxsutawny Phil, came to visit State College.

January 17: Men’s volleyball upset No. 9-ranked Lewis at home.

January 17: Men’s hockey beat the Fighting Irish, securing the weekend sweep with a 6-3 win.

January 18: Men’s Hockey hosted the 4th annual Sled Hockey Classic against the Coyotes.

January 18: Women’s basketball fell, 76-72, to Rutgers at home.
