A Nittany Lion Is Guaranteed To Play In Super Bowl LX

A Penn Stater has still appeared in every Super Bowl except five since 1967.
Following the 10-7 victory by the New England Patriots over the Denver Broncos, two Nittany Lions will head to the Bay Area to compete for the Vince Lombardi Trophy on February 8.
While folks in Happy Valley continue to wait for a Penn State football national title, at least these players who previously donned the blue and white can walk away as World Champions.
Caedan Wallace – New England Patriots
Wallace was an offensive tackle for Penn State from 2019-2023. He was drafted by the Patriots in the third round and started two games this season. Despite being listed as inactive for New England’s playoff run, Wallace will have the opportunity to celebrate in red, white, and blue confetti if his team is able to knock off the best of the West.
Chris Stoll – Seattle Seahawks
Stoll is the long snapper for Seattle and previously played at Penn State from 2019-2022. In 2022, he won the Patrick Mannelly Award for being the nation’s top long snapper. In the Divisional round against the 49ers, Stoll received just under half of the special teams snaps during the game in his team’s 41-6 rout of San Francisco.
Jesse Luketa – Los Angeles Rams
Luketa was a member of Penn State’s Linebacker U, playing in Happy Valley from 2018-2021. He was signed to the Rams’ practice squad in November and hasn’t seen any game action this season. He previously played for the Arizona Cardinals, where he infamously received a ride from fans after getting a flat tire.
