Rapper Jonathan Kirk, better known as DaBaby, took the stage Friday night at the Bryce Jordan Center for his “Welcome Back Concert” with his producer DJ K.i.D, with music by DJ Ja and Slickklando.

The night started with performances from Slickklando and music from DJ Ja and other various guest performances. The crowd was buzzing with excitement from the music and with anticipation as they waited for DaBaby to perform.

After these performances, it was time for DaBaby to come on stage. The crowd, after a long wait, was excited and ready to see the rapper. DaBaby even teased himself a bit for his delayed appearance, stating, “If ya’ll are tired of waiting, put your lights in the air.”

DaBaby started his performance with some of his bigger songs, such as “SHAKE SUMN”, “Suge”, and “Masterpiece”. The Charlotte, North Carolina, native joked about the “nice” weather and how he appreciated everyone who showed up despite the cold. To really get the crowd into it, DaBaby jumped off the stage and stood on the metal barrier in front of the crowd with excited fans cheering him on from below.

DaBaby continued to perform, playing some of his biggest songs and feature appearances such as “For The Night” with the Late Pop Smoke, “PHAT,” “Levitating” with Dua Lipa, and “Baby” with Lil Baby.

On the tail end of the show, DaBaby performed his two biggest songs, “BOP” and “ROCKSTAR”. These songs share a combined eight platinum certifications, as well as three Grammy nominations, and peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

To close out the show, DaBaby performed his new single “POP DAT THING,” which will be the lead single of his new album “BE MORE GRATEFUL,” releasing Friday, January 30. Despite the relatively shorter show than fans were expecting, the crowd still enjoyed the performance, as the night ended with DaBaby taking pictures with fans before heading backstage.
