THON is finally back in the BJC and with some brand new merch.

The theme of the year is “Love Leans Forward.” From t-shirts, sweaters, hats, and more, let’s see what gear stands out the most and choose our favorites. The merchandise is available on THON’s website and throughout the stands in the BJC.

No. 10 – Plain Thon Sweatshirt

The plain THON sweatshirt is at No. 10 in our power rankings. The letters are striped, which gives it some originality.

The blue and grey colors blend with many pairs of pants anyone could own. These sweatshirts are nice, casual wear at any point.

No. 9 – THON Love Leads Forward Spelled Out Sweatshirt

Not the design with the people reaching for the stars, but the Love Leans Forward spelled out sweatshirt ranks as No. 9.

It sends a great message for a big THON right above it. Anyone looking will read this and could appreciate the heartfelt words expressed.

Its dark grey color could go well with any pair of jeans, and is also a casual look anyone can rock.

No. 8 – For The Kids Hat

No. 8 comes in as the FTK hat. The blue and white colors represent Penn State and could be worn on sunny days, potentially with a nice beach outfit.

No. 7 – The Sun

The sun sweatshirt/shirt is ranked at No. 7, showing a brighter side to THON.

The design definitely pops with the yellow base and orange sun covering the entire length. Brighter days are ahead for those who support and fight.

No. 6 – Growing Is A Beautiful Thing Blue Sweatshirt

Our sixth spot goes to the cotton candy colored sweatshirt with an inspirational message.

The various types of colors shown on the clothing express the creativity behind the design. There are also small features such as stars, a crown, and a mask.

These combinations give bonus points while also providing a great quote.

No. 5 – Love Leads Forward

The popular design worn by many comes in at No. 5 in the rankings. With staff and dancers wearing various colors, this piece starts in the top five.

The people on the shirt reaching for the stars express so much emotion. It shows the love people have for THON and their dedication to helping kids achieve dreams.

The sky is the limit, maybe even more.

No. 4 – One Day We Will Dance In Celebration Sweatshirt

With great colors and creativity, the fourth spot goes to the confetti-designed sweatshirt.

The confetti represents a celebration that everyone hopes to achieve for the kids. The black base allows people to wear it with many types of outfits.

You can’t go wrong with black, and the extra color sparks excitement and joy.

No. 3 – Postage Shirt

The top three begin with the Postage SS Shirt. The postcard designs have fun pictures such as a dog, mountains, a guitar, and more.

The different representations of THON shown earn this design a spot in the top three. It outranks the other merch for creativity with design.

No. 2 – Journey Hoodies

The No. 2 spot is given to the journey hoodie with a standout pink color.

It shows where the money goes and the benefits of donating to THON. The map idea was super creative, and of course, has the most important message right in the middle, FTK!

No. 1 – Traveler Shirt

We’ve made it to our No. 1 spot— the Traveler Shirt.

The backdrop of the design makes this shirt stand out the most. The message it sends as the van drives down a path, reading “All In A Pursuit of a Cure,” gives the best combination of design and story.

As THON weekend returned, merch is a great way to show love for the event. Representing the 46-hour dance marathon is always amazing to see.
