Bill #65-20: Funding for Movin’ On Sustainable Tote Bags: This bill proposes that UPUA fund 150 reusable tote bags for the 51st Annual Movin’ On Music Festival on May 1, 2026. The tote bags are intended to replace single-use plastic bags to promote sustainability and responsible environmental habits, as well as strengthen the connection between UPUA and Movin’ On.
Bill #65-20: Funding for Movin’ On Sustainable Tote Bags was passed 30-1-0.
Bill #66-20: Funding for Spring Break Lyft Subsidies: This bill proposes that UPUA fund spring break Lyft subsidies to help students travel to and from campus. UPUA will provide up to 47 ride coupons valued at $15 each, valid from March 4 to March 16. These trips include the State College Airport as well as other pickup or drop-off locations. The program only charges UPUA for the amount of each subsidy that is actually used, making it a flexible and cost-effective alternative to prior fixed-schedule van services, while reducing students’ travel expenses during spring break.

Bill #54-20: Basic Life Support Training Administration: This bill regarding a BLS certification course for 30 undergraduate students through an instructional session was passed two weeks ago, but was added back into New Business due to an update.
