Penn State Women’s Lacrosse Falls To No. 22 In Latest Inside Lacrosse Rankings

Penn State women’s lacrosse fell one spot to No. 22 in the newest Inside Lacrosse poll.

Despite only having two losses on the season, the drop in the rankings comes after a senior day loss at home to eighth-ranked Michigan. During the game, the offense struggled to score, with many missed and saved shots. Missed opportunities plagued Penn State, as they couldn’t take advantage of man-up situations on offense. This led to turnovers and goals for Michigan in the 11-6 loss.

The Nittany Lions have a chance to get above .500 in the Big Ten later this week, as they travel to face Big Ten rivals Maryland on Sunday, March 29.
