Three-Star Cornerback Zachary Gleason Jr. Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 three-star cornerback Zachary Gleason Jr. has committed to Penn State football, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Gleason is tabbed as the No. 21 player in Pennsylvania, No. 75 cornerback in the Class of 2027, and No. 741 player nationally, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. The Central Catholic High School product out of Pittsburgh racked up 28 solo tackles, four tackles-for-loss, one sack, and three interceptions in 15 games in his 2025-26 junior campaign, per his MaxPreps profile. He also lined up at receiver, totaling three receptions for 94 yards and a score.

Gleason joins three-star safety Semajay Robinson as the only members of Penn State’s 2027 recruiting class. After a big recruiting weekend and more visits on the way, Matt Campbell and Co. are working their way back up the ranks.

Gleason picked Penn State over Stanford and Virginia Tech. To see what the newest Nittany Lion brings to Happy Valley, check out his Hudl highlights here.
