Cole Swindell & Gabby Barrett To Perform Free Concert At Bryce Jordan Center May 23

Country artists Cole Swindell and Gabby Barrett will perform a free concert at the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, May 23, as part of Pennsylvania’s new Commonwealth Concert Series.

Tickets will be available with limited availability through America250PA’s website at a later date to be announced. The concert will start at 5 p.m.

Swindell is a country singer and songwriter, known for hit songs such as “Chillin’ It,” “You Should Be Here,” “Flatliner,” and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” He has released four albums — “Cole Swindell,” “You Should Be Here,” “All of It,” “Stereotype,” and most recently “Spanish Moss” in June 2025.

In 2015, Swindell was named New Artist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Awards. He has had three headlining tours and is currently on his “Happy Hour Sad Tour.”

Barrett is a country singer who rose to fame after finishing third on “American Idol” in 2018. Her debut single, “I Hope,” became a top-three hit on the Billboard Hot 100. She has released three albums — “Goldmine,” “Chapter & Verse,” and “Carols and Candlelight.” Barrett has won nine awards in her career.

Governor Josh Shapiro announced the headliners for the series on Thursday morning, along with America 250PA organizers. The new concert series hosts five free shows in Pennsylvania cities from May to June.

The series joins a large lineup of events coming to Pennsylvania this summer to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
