This winter, Sheetz will expand its fleet of convenience stores/gas stations in the State College area to include a new location on South Atherton Street.
It's that time of the semester: clubs are picking up, clogging up inboxes with sometime multiple emails a day. At this point, you pretty much know whether or not you will actually be an active member of the random clubs you may have registered for on a whim at the involvement fair. So what do you do when you want to stop receiving emails from these clubs? Hint: you don't have to annoy everyone else on the LISTSERV by sending the typical "please remove me from the LISTSERV" email.
With committee applications out and special interest organizations beginning to meet, the THON 2012 season is quickly getting underway. This evening, THON will host will host New to THON for students who haven't previously been involved in the largest student-run philanthropy in the world.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the annual Pattee and Paterno Libraries' open house will be held this Wednesday and Thursday, September 7th and 8th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Come out to learn more about the libraries--or just to win some free swag.
As some may remember, last October the university announced that they would no longer license shot glasses bearing the words "Penn State" or any of its logos. However, a quick trip into most of the Penn State-oriented stores on College Ave makes this seem otherwise.
