I really wish I didn’t have to do this. However, due to a recent trip back to Joie de Crêpe, I feel like I need to write a retraction of some sort. A place where I could once get the best crêpe I’ve ever eaten on this side of the Atlantic, has turned into an establishment I wouldn’t ever go back to. It’s bad, kids. Pretty damn bad.
I love noodles. I could eat them for every meal, every day, and every month of the year. (In my ideal world I would—I might weigh 200 pounds heavier but I would be 200% happier). If this is familiar to you in any way, then the opening of Noodles and Company downtown will make you jump for joy as you get your fat pants out of the closet.
Squirrels. Outrageously priced clothing. Freshmen. Out of all of the things State College has in abundance, there’s one thing that there can never be enough of: Asian restaurants. Scott Wong, the owner of Greenbowl, seems to agree, as his newest Vietnamese themed restaurant Lemongrass opened its doors just last week.
Football games tend to make me hungry—although witnessing any amount of athletic dominance will do that to a girl. The suspense! The pageantry! The unbridled blood lust! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. So to make sure you eat properly before and after witnessing some Ohio ass-kicking, here are my suggestions.
