
The regular season finally comes to an end Sunday afternoon, as the Nittany Lions travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at 1 p.m. in what all of Nittany Nation hopes can end in favor of Penn State.

Specialist Jordan Wombacker (Hickory High School/Hermitage, Pa.) announced yesterday that he will walk on at Penn State this upcoming season, where he will join the open competition to replace the departed Sam Ficken.

One of Penn State's prized commits will attend one of the most prestigious high school football camps in the country this offseason. Quarterback pledge Jake Zembiec (Aquinas Institute/Rochester, N.Y.) received an invite to The Nike Football Opening Regionals yesterday.

Around 100 prospects took part in the day's events, which included a tour of campus and the team's facilities, along with a rundown of both the program's philosophies and what Penn State has to offer academically.
