John and Lisa Dimakopoulos have sold the Original Waffle Shops at 1229 N. Atherton St. and 1610 W. College Ave. in Ferguson Township to Chris and Michelle Paret.
Gone, but never forgotten.
The restaurant will open at 1031 E. College Ave. in the early spring.
Manny’s Live Performance Space will hold a soft opening on New Year’s Eve at 101 Hiester Street, which was previously the longtime home of The Saloon.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board approved moving forward with plans to open a Fine Wine & Good Spirits at 1536 N. Atherton St.
The fire was out within about 10 minutes. Residents who were home at the time exited safely and no injuries were reported.
