One of several pro-Joe Paterno billboards is at risk of removal if enough funds aren't raised to support the initiative. The message on the billboard reads: "You can't cover up 61 years of success with honor" -- a clear reference to Paterno's 61 years spent coaching at Penn State.
Nittany Mountain Trail Rides canceled all hayrides scheduled tonight and tomorrow night because there were so many alcohol-related incidents last night, according to the owner. Alcohol is not allowed on the farm, although, naturally, pre-gaming has long been a tradition for hayrides among Penn State groups.
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali celebrated his team’s win over the Houston Texans on Sunday at a restaurant in the Plaza area. At the end of the night, he left a surprise gift for the staff: an extra tip of $1,000, according to KCTV5.
Choosing from more than 150 submissions from students, faculty, and staff, the 2014 Senior Class Gift Committee narrowed down its options to the final three proposals. Penn State seniors can vote next week to determine the legacy their class will leave behind.
