
If you've stepped outside of your dorm or apartment today, you've probably already realized -- it's effing cold. After a week of relatively nice weather, State College is in for a cold front that is set to last until early next week.

Anyone who was around the Penn State football team last season, particularly the media, knows how entertaining former cornerback Stephon Morris can be. Morris' senior day postgame interview was the most emotional out of any of his teammates and he was never one to worry about being politically correct.
Morris was Penn State through and through and he didn't care who knew it. Now no longer under the leash of the sports PR department or his former coaches' watchful eyes, it came as little surprise that Morris would be the one to go off on some of his less loyal former teammates on Twitter.

Despite widespread message board rumors and unsourced Twitter rumblings, Penn State announced today that acting athletic director David Joyner would remain AD for the duration of President Rodney Erickson's tenure.

You've probably already seen the historical marker outside of the gymnasium -- one of 63 on Penn State' campus. The Penn State Board of Trustees met earlier this afternoon at the Penn Stater Conference Center as part of its bimonthly meeting. A number of motions were voted on, including the election of the new Board of Trustees chair and vice chair, won by Keith Masser and Stephanie Deviney, respectively.

Bill O'Brien is adding another award to his trophy case, this time the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Award which he won tonight in Houston, Texas.
