
The petition was created shortly after viral videos surfaced appearing to show rowdy groups of students partying outside East Halls Wednesday night.

Penn State received reports saying the fraternity hosted a social that depicted a large gathering without masks or social distancing.

Penn State and its police department didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the reported gatherings.

Warren said the conference's leadership was "overwhelmingly in support" of postponing fall sports and stated the topic won't be revisited.

Moving forward, Penn State Athletics will report unaggregated testing figures on a weekly basis.

"We have repeatedly asked Penn State to provide data modeling and other forms of scientific evidence to justify its testing policies. Such evidence has not been forthcoming."
