The Color Run Brightens Up Penn State

Last year, the Color Run swept through campus when over 10,000 people participated in the "Happiest 5k on the Planet" (in the Happiest of Valleys, I might add). This year, Homecoming brought the event back for a second round, and the Color Runners spent the morning hustling through campus in a rainbow-tinted blur.

College Republicans to Host 9/11 Memorial Service on Old Main Lawn

13 years after ten Penn State alumni were among the 2,977 people killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States, the College Republicans will again hold their annual memorial service in front of Old Main tomorrow.

Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany Releases Statement

Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany has weighed in on the NCAA's decision to reduce Penn State's sanctions to USA Today Sports. In the statement, Delany outlined much of what the conference already announced earlier today, and weighed in on the reasoning behind Penn State's sanction adjustment. Delany did however state that the reduction isn't an assessment of the original penalty. Delany's full statement can be seen below:

NCAA Willing To Keep Consent Decree Fine Money In Pennsylvania

The NCAA has formally dropped their lawsuit with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, according to the Associated Press.

The organization asked Commonwealth Court Judge to drop the suit filed by State Senator Jake Corman and Pennsylvania Treasurer Rob McCord late Friday. The NCAA also said that if Covey agrees, they will move to end their federal lawsuit against McCord, Gov. Tom Corbett, and the Commonwealth, which challenged the legality of a 2013 state law that required the fine money to stay in the state.

Lou Holtz: ‘What [The NCAA] Did To Penn State Was Criminal’

Well, another legendary former coach is jumping on Penn State's side. Fomer Notre Dame head coach and current ESPN Analyst, Lou Holtz, spoke out on Penn State's sanctions doled out by the NCAA last week prior to the U.S. Mid-Amateur golf tournament at Saucon Valley Country Club outside of Bethlehem, Pa.
