Athletic Director Sandy Barbour apologized for bashing the hockey team's 409 stickers on a radio show tonight, saying she just wanted Penn State to make sure it "got it right."

Board of Trustees Chairman Keith Masser still does not think Joe Paterno was fired, according to his deposition that was released today in the Corman lawsuit. Masser also said that the reason Paterno was fired "had nothing to do" with what he "had known or hadn't done," which contradicts an official Penn State release explaining the termination.

Joe Paterno got his wins back today, but perhaps something even more incredible happened: Penn State's Board of Trustees voted unanimously on the settlement that made it happen.

According to Trustee Anthony Lubrano, who spoke with the media on the trustees executive session to accept the settlement, the former coach still deserves the plaudits Penn State promised him after his death and the restoration of his statue on Porter Road. And those things could happen sooner than we think.
